We all love our dog but it is not showing them love if you feed them off your plate when they beg
So as cute as your dog is when their sweet little face says please you must learn how to restrain yourself. In this article I will give you some insight into many foods that you should not be giving to your dog. First, chocolate, we all love chocolate but do you know how very toxic it can be to your dog. No matter how much your dog begs never give it to your dog. Baking chocolate is the worst form of chocolate your dog can ever get a hold of. So always keep all chocolate products away from your dog. Second, grapes and raisins can be very harmful for your dog. They can cause kidney failure in your pet. Don't be fooled by their small size. Third, onions as good as they taste in a salad they are very dangerous for your dog. They are very harmful to your dogs digestive system. Especially if they were to ingest a large amount. Fourth, everyone thinks bones are a good thing for a dog to chew on wrong. We all know never to give your dog chicken bones but larger bones can also be a hazard to your dog. They splinter and can get caught in the dog's intestines. Your dog can also choke on bone fragments. It is better to buy your dog rawhide chew sticks or artificial bones that do not cause problems. Five, milk and milk based products are not good for your dog. As much as your dog may enjoy them they do not have the enzyme called lactose that is needed to digest dairy products. Sixth, Artificial sweeteners and artificial fats are not good for your dog. They enjoy the natural flavors of food so there is no need to add these products. Seventh, sugary and processed foods are not good for your dog. They do not digest these foods very well and can become obese from eating too much of them. Lastly spicy foods do not agree well with dogs. They do not need spices to make their food more inviting. Stick with good healthy nutritious food for your dog. The natural flavor of food is fine for your dog. |
